The Moray Beatrice Community Fund have greatly assisted us with funding to clear the old track-bed and renew ballast leading towards Keith Junction.
We hope to extend our track some 250 metres beyond the existing buffers next to Strathisla Distillery, to provide a new platform much nearer to the main line junction.
It will hugely reduce the walking distance for passengers from almost half an hour to little over 5 minutes!
We have been able to begin laying ballast beyond the present buffer stop
