This year, 2026, the ever-popular 40s weekend be on the 20th and 21st of June.
Helen Bodiam is the organiser and she is assisted by teams of wartime re-enactors and exhibitors of a variety of military vehicles.
It is for ever a remembrance of the great community spirit
that endured hard times and made do whatever.
The weather will, as always, be absolutely perfect.
Otherwise it’s a case of the ‘stiff upper lip’ and ‘we’ll make do anyway’!
